Earth Science

 

Earth Science is a detailed look at our planet and processes that have shaped it.  The students will develop an understanding of the concepts, processes, theories, models, evidence and systems of earth and space sciences.  During the one year course, students will be exposed to important concepts in astronomy, meteorology, geology, and physical oceanography.  The students will also develop an understanding of the processes and applications of scientific inquiry.  The course is designed as a freshman level, laboratory based science course.
